Devine Time

Devine Time

‘Trust in the Divine presence of timing’ a short little sentence that has filled every dream that came to me last night. A nice little reminder to me to have the trust needed; to move forward without placing obstacles in the way.

Obstacles that we all throw at ourselves every now and then. You know the one that we throw most Self doubt.

So my many dreams last night I am sure where to remind me of how to keep that obstacle at bay. Let the ego rack off since that’s where most obstacles come from and just move forward even if it is only one step at a time.

But why the self-doubt, what was plaguing my mind. Simple really financial issues. It has always been my weakness, even when I am feeling like all is going smoothly in life. The slightest hiccup with finances years ago saw me crumble. I have come along way since then and now don’t allow lack of money to interrupt the daily joy of life. Yet after 8 weeks of my husband not working it was starting to creep up on me. I know where we stand financial right now and we are by no means broke. However I also know how long the money we have left will last and it can be counted in days and weeks not months and years like I would like it to be.

Financial self-doubt was creeping up again, getting ready to raise its ugly head. Well sorry ego I have other planes and it doesn’t involve crumbling at this little hiccup. So last night in my dreams the message over and over again as my subconscious leapt from one dream to another was :

Trust in the Divine presence of timing

And this I plan to do. It doesn’t mean sitting here waiting for the knock at the door and it all changes it means being proactive in life. Too many people think that they can wish it or manifest it by simply sitting there wanting it bad enough. NO! You can’t to gain anything in life by wanting it bad enough. You must be an active participant in life and go out and take action to allow it happen. Divine timing will open the door at the right time, but that wont be your front door it be one of the doors you knock on.

If you follow these simple principle manifesting what you need is achievable:chase the dream

Firstly address your thought process,

  • Negative thoughts allow for continued negativity in your life.
  • Positive thoughts allow for continued positivity in your life.
  • Change your thoughts change your life.

Secondly get clear about what you want and why

  • A million dollars is fine to want but why do you want it, do you truly need it to be happy.
  • Health, happiness and harmony have so much more value than a million dollars.

Thirdly be clear how you ask for it

  • Debt free sure;  Bankruptcy can get you debt free. Or do you want that or the ability to pay off your debt with ease ?
  • If you want a new job no problem, do you need to lose it first, or transition smoothly into a new one?

Fourthly be prepared to work towards the goal, participate and create momentum for it to flow towards you.

  • If you want a new home, you need to be working out the budget, saving extra if needed, get your old home ready for sale,  you are not Dorothy and it wont just fall out of the sky.
  • After the love of your life, they are not knocking at your front door either, so if you stay home and don’t go out socializing they are not showing up. Get out of your comfort zone.
  • New career, but no skills or qualifications in it, well then open the text-book, enrol in the course get working towards it.

Finally never let the obstacles hold you back

  • Be persistent don’t give up because the first door didn’t open, it wasnt meant to, you are meant to keep going, Trust in the Divine presence of timing.

    nothing is impossible

    nothing is impossible

  • When others say you can’t let them know I can and I will.
  • Know you can achieve it. Believe in the power of you.
  • Be thankful for the process Attitude of gratitude.
  • Dont fear change Live without regret.

Fall down get back up

Standard

challaengeWow this year has really jumped forward with a bang. In the last week alone I have spoken to more people than ever before who are worried about job security, going through financial crisis and facing health dilemmas. Some would think of this as a bad start and that all these people are suffering, yet it’s quite the opposite. Yes there remains the element of stress, our lovely friend ego ensures we carry some of that with us through these times. However rather than allow their dreams to bust so many have spoken about being resilient and rising to the challenge. For me a challenge is just an opportunity waiting for you to look at it the right way.

During these time is not the challenge that’s important rather the way we respond to it. Do we lash out and cry foul of the universe and what it brings our way? Do we crumble and fall? Do we fall into a depression, get angry and waste time laying blame? Or do we stand up and face it head on? Do we say “I don’t like this but I can change it”? Do we ensure that we nurture ourselves during this time, keep positive and find outlets for stress?

Fall-7-Times-Stand-Up-8The greatest challenge for those facing upheaval in their life I believe is not whether they fall down, rather it’s to get back up and keep moving forward. When a person faces a challenge time they can become to the world around them either an inspiration or burden. For those with children no matter their age it is important to teach resilience, to become the inspiration. We do this by our actions, the words we speak and the response we give.

Life is not about living without bumps, jolts, hills or slides. It is however about a journey, how this journey looks is up to you. In my life my aim is to teach my children to enjoy the journey and to be able to stand back up after being knocked down. To do this my children are aware of the challenges we face. While we keep them informed of what is going on their young ages mean they don’t have to know every detail, yet enough to understand. We don’t walk around in our house pretending everything is perfect, yet we don’t allow negativity and doubt to take control. If we have a bad day we acknowledge it. I teach them how to keep calm, meditation if even for 2 minutes is amazing for this with young children. We do not shy away from our feelings, we talk them through. Most importantly they understand that as a family they are important to us. If they have advice to offer we listen to them, ensuring they grown up knowing how to think about solutions rather than focus on problems. By doing all of this we are building resilient children who are well equipped to change challenge into opportunity when needed in their life.kids

Challenge the habit

Standard

Over the school holidays my eldest son has added the word funny and like to just about every sentence he says, instead of using um…. Err…. and…. he has unconsciously added these words. Sometimes they are in totally context others times they so out-of-place.belief

Somehow this has now become a habit and without wanting to sound hurtful in correcting him I have simply asked him to define funny and like and how they relate to the sentence and story he is telling me. I have asked him what other worlds he feels may be a better fit at times as well. I don’t want to encourage umm…. err …. and ….so I have also asked that he slow down and think about what message he wants to convey before speaking.

Watching him learn to undo the habit and replace it with a new thought process had me thinking about all the little things we do unconsciously that have become habits, some possible help us get through our day while others do not serve us well at all, some just seem to have crept up on us.

I know I am not alone when I say that Facebook on my phone can be an become an addictive habit, checking when I wake, over lunch, while watching TV before bed. Some of my friends have recently undertaken a challenge to only use Facebook when at their desk computer and have since remove the app from their phone. So I thought it would be FUN to write down all the things that could be achieved by removing Facebook from ones phone.

Family – amazing how much time we spend looking at a phone ignoring those that truly matter.

Awareness – meditate, relax and become aware of you and the real world you live in.

Cooking – imagine being able to enjoy doing this because you have time on your side.

Exercise – no excuses now you have more time and there is energy to burn.

Books – reading it’s amazing what reading a good book can do for the soul.

Organise – where can you make life more efficient for you (mine is my study schedule).

Obliterate – determination now to remove other worthless habits (we all have a few I am sure).

Kip – Imagine being able to fall asleep without a status update in your mind.

habitMy friends are doing a one month challenge with this to see how it changes their lives. What habit can you remove for one month to see how it changes your life? And once its change will you take the habit back up again or gain a new thought process that is for the better?
